It all started with a simple question: "Why is it so hard to buy gifts?" In fact, in the age of social networking, it still feels like gift buying hasn't really changed at all. So we wanted to change that and make it fun and easy!

Thoughtful uses your social network to try and recommend the perfect gift for the important people in your life. We try to understand who they are, what's going on in their life, and even things like where they are. All to suggest the perfect something.

The simple fact is there’s just not enough time in the day for most of us to act on all of the great ideas that cross our minds, or even sometimes to do the really important things that remind the people around us that they matter to us.
